About
I am Praharsh Tiwari, a first year doctoral student in Mechanical Engineering under the advisorship of Prof. Rajan Kumar at the Florida Center for Advanced Aero-Propulsion (FCAAP), FAMU-FSU College of Engineering, Florida A&M - Florida State University.
My research explores the cutting edge of Experimental Aerodynamics, with a particular focus on supersonic and hypersonic flows, and the science of active flow and noise control in high-speed regimes. I’m fascinated by the elegant violence of air moving faster than sound, and I aim to understand and harness its complexity—both in the lab and in the sky.
At the intersection of experimentation and control, my work seeks to answer critical questions in high-speed aerodynamics and contribute to the technologies that will shape the future of aerospace systems.
